Reporting to the Project Manager, the Co-op will assist with coordination and administrative tasks for underground utility construction projects. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in project coordination, construction management, or engineering.\nDuration: 12 months\nLocation: Scarborough\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nSupport the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination and on-site activities\nPrepare, organize, and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle\nAssist in setting up project folders, templates, and required documentation during project start-up\nMaintain project files and records on shared servers and document control systems\nTrack, log, and manage project documentation, including RFIs, reports, and general correspondence\nSupport preparation and tracking of change notices and change orders\nEnsure drawing and report folders are current and distribute updated information as needed\nCoordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and utility owners\nSchedule, attend, and take minutes for project meetings and conference calls\nTrack and summarize site hours worked in alignment with project reporting requirements\nAssist with cost tracking, job costing, and monthly reporting\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nCurrently enrolled in a technical diploma or engineering degree program (Civil, Electrical, Construction, or related field)\nInterest in the civil or electrical utility sector\nUnderstanding of basic project coordination concepts such as scheduling, documentation control, and change management\nStrong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments\nComfortable working in both office and field/site environments\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project; experience with Hard Dollar or SAP is an asset\nHighly organized with strong time-management skills\nAbility to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment\nReason for Vacancy: Replacement\nThe expected pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
