In the Caribbean region, we are leveraging our expertise and collaborative approach to deliver world-class infrastructure projects tailored to meet the unique needs of the island communities.\nReporting to the Proposal Manager, the Proposals Coordinator will support the preparation of high-quality proposal submissions by coordinating content, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with internal teams and partners. Based in Barbados, this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat You’ll Do Here:\nSupport Proposal Managers with the creation and administration of responses for large-scale civil construction opportunities.\nSupport production of winning submissions by assuring all necessary materials are clear, comprehensive, compelling, and compliant.\nReview and develop a detailed understanding of client bid requirements.\nDevelop and administer proposal calendars and responsibility matrices.\nCreate and manage proposals, resume, and project sheet templates.\nTrack and support timely provision of proposal deliverables required from internal and external partners.\nResearch internal and external resources, including pertinent statistics, repositories, and other sources of information to generate relevant and winning content.\nEstablish and coordinate the flow of information from subject matter experts and relevant ongoing projects for use in a submission.\nEnsure that all proposal content supplied by the team is compliant with RFQ and RFP submission requirements.\nPrepare and edit deliverables such as key staff resumes, project sheets, organization charts, executive summaries, and presentations.\nOrganize and schedule team meetings, prepare agendas, and generate and distribute meeting minutes.\nAssist proposal and bid managers to ensure that all deadlines are met.\nManage pursuit SharePoint sites.\nPerform data entry in order to maintain accuracy of reports, schedules, and deliverables.\nTrack and report on Key Performance Indicators and other team objectives, as well as any relevant client addenda.\nWork with graphic designers to develop JV logos, binder and tab designs\nEnsure binders, USBs, tabs, covers, and other materials are prepared and available for final assembly of proposals.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nMinimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction.\n2+ years of experience in proposal writing, marketing, or similar Business Development communications.\nStrong communication skills.\nAbility to quickly produce clear, concise, correct, and compelling written material.\nExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.\nProficiency in Adobe, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to work collaboratively and effectively in teams.\nExcellent time management skills with the ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple assignments and tasks.\nGraphic Design experience is considered an asset (InDesign, etc.).\nSome limited travel may be required.\nAecon fosters belonging within and across our organization.
