The successful applicant can look forward to projects including working on new build simple and combined cycle powerplants and developing plant modifications on projects throughout the United States and Canada.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nUnder minimal supervision, design medium to complex mechanical / piping systems using 2D and 3D design tools. \nThe successful candidate fully understands the process of design development, preparing drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures. \nThe successful candidate shall be knowledgeable in the design of plant mechanical and piping systems, able to develop piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), general arrangement drawings (GA), equipment plan, piping orthographic and isometric drawings. \nThe successful candidate will have a basic understanding of engineer’s design development process. \nThe mechanical / piping designer fully understands the purpose and use of vendor documents and reviews mechanical supplier documents for accuracy. \nHelp coordinate mechanical / piping design activities work with other discipline groups. \nWhat You Bring To The Team:\nAssociate degree in piping design (technical field) or equivalent demonstrated experience. \nMinimum of 10 years of relevant design experience beyond associate degree in powerplant piping and support design. \nProficiency with AutoDesk Plant3D, P&ID and AutoCAD. \nProficient with Bentley MicroStation \nBenefits Include:\nHealth Insurance Benefits (Comprehensive Plan- Dental/Medical/Vision)\n401K (comprehensive match plan) \nPaid Vacation - (vacation/wellness days)\nHealth and Wellness Home Benefit - (wellness subsidy for fitness/health)\nTuition Reimbursement - (strong career growth support for approved degrees, diplomas and courses)\nCitizenship Requirement:\nThis position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations.
