If you’re inspired to make a difference through future-building projects, join our best-in-class team.\nWhat is the Opportunity?\nThe Financial Analyst will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support Corporate initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Do Here:\nAssist in the preparation of the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts, including supporting schedules/analyses for Board reporting.\nAssist with the development of the Corporate departmental SG&A annual budgets \nQuarterly forecasts in concert with the respective department business partners.\nInvestigate/analyze Corporate SG&A variances from budget/forecast on a monthly/quarterly basis - working closely with business partners.\nProvide business partners with thoughtful insights and influence senior leadership level decision making on core business decisions.\nEnhance the budgeting/forecasting and financial processes \nSupport process improvement initiatives to achieve financial goals and improve efficiency and profitability.\nRegular interaction with Corporate groups with respect to payroll, accounting, and reporting inquiries and issues.\nRegular interaction with Operational Finance teams with respect to project results, forecasting and budgets.\nKeep apprised of internal processes, procedures and internal controls and monitor compliance thereto.\nDevelop and present quantitative analyses to translate data into actionable insights.\nSupport preparation of financial presentations & analyses for the leadership team.\nAssist Supply Chain Management with inquiries or issues pertaining to Purchase Order, Receiving and Accounts Payable in SAP.\nPerform ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support business partners.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting\nCPA designation or equivalent is an asset\n3+ years progressive work experience in an accounting/finance environment with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting and analysis.\nInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge and experience is an asset.\nAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.\nStrong analytical skills including quantitative problem-solving.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work in team environments.\nProven ability to work with and meet tight deadlines.\nStrong systems and computer skills; high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.\nExperience in SAP and BPC systems is an asset.\nKnowledge of VBA, SAP Business Objects, and Power BI is preferred.\nCitizenship Requirement:\nThis position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations.
