This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to coordinate purchasing activities, maintain accurate procurement records, track deliveries, and ensure procurement processes are completed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nProcess purchase requisitions and create purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness\nCoordinate supplier onboarding and ensure required documentation is collected and maintained\nSupport the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services based on project and operational needs\nObtain and compare supplier quotations to support purchasing decisions\nCommunicate with suppliers regarding pricing, order status, availability, and delivery timelines\nTrack material deliveries and expedite orders to support project schedules\nWork closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to understand upcoming procurement requirements\nAssist in resolving purchase order, delivery, invoice, and supplier-related issues\nMaintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation within ERP systems\nSupport supplier performance tracking, spend analysis, and procurement reporting\nAssist with sourcing initiatives, cost-saving opportunities, and procurement process improvements\nEnsure purchasing activities comply with established procurement policies and procedures\nDevelop positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\n1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, or a related field.\n Relevant co-op/internship experience may also be considered\nPost-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field\nBasic understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes\nExperience with purchase orders, supplier coordination, or material tracking is considered an asset\nExposure to ERP or procurement systems is considered an asset\nStrong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel\nWillingness to learn and develop within the procurement and supply chain function\nExperience or exposure to the construction, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is considered an asset\nProgress toward a supply chain or procurement designation is considered an asset\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $58,000 - $60,000 per year.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
