This position is the primary point of contact to ensure a consistent, deliberate, and clear methodology is used for key decisions, and advancement of deliverables the scope of work.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nBusiness Development\nPrepare short and long term projections and forecasts for identified projects\nPrepare project revenue targets and budgets and update as required\nResponsible for the development of business opportunities as they apply to the account\nFacilitate a firsthand business relationship with customers at decision-making levels\nProposal and Estimating\nEstablish strategies for success of proposals\nParticipation and understanding of the final proposal pricing\nParticipation in the preparation and delivery of all proposal documents\nRisk analysis, including review of Terms and Conditions, pre-bid recommendation forms, PRC and chairing pre-bid meetings\nParticipation in the negotiation of the proposal towards award\nProject Execution\nIdentification of threats to project delivery and establishment of suitable counter measures\nEstablish resources required to execute projects\nFacilitate project turnover meetings and foster information exchange from proposal team\nSelect the management and supervision team to execute the projects\nUltimate responsibility for the execution of the work in terms of safety, project management strategies, schedule, cost, manpower and client communications\nTotal responsibility for financial, accounting, reporting associated with the project\nPost job analysis of all major projects\nResponsible for management of claims to their ultimate settlement\nManage construction work package planning\nManaging all project coordination aspects\nManage project delivery\nInformal safety inspections as per Red Book training\nProvide supervisory guidance to project personnel\nPreparation of succession plans\nEnsure that all employees are fully trained for the function they are expected to fulfill\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nEducation to include undergraduate degree in Engineering or technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.\n5-10 years experience in project execution\n2-5 years Project Management related experience \nExperience with coordinating/managing Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) work \nAbility to successfully coordinate a construction project\nKnowledge of all aspects of construction such as; technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements\nGood communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential\nHigh proficiency in standard computer programs \nExperience in preparation and delivery of project reports in writing and verbally, including presentation to various stakeholders \nExperience in a Nuclear facility, including within Zoned areas and Containment as necessary to plan and oversee the work, Advanced knowledge of [tools, software, or methodologies]\nP.Eng and/or PMP considered an asset\nExperience in N286 Quality and execution projects\nExperience in planning and executing EPC projects\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nSound judgment and confidentiality\nCollaborative and customer-focused mindset\nAdaptability and continuous improvement orientation\nReason for vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 per year\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
