This includes numerous public entities and Public-Private Partnerships in Canada and abroad.\nReporting to the Pit Superintendent, the Loader Operator is responsible for loading gravel trucks at the company’s various locations in the Greater Calgary Area.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nOperate Front end Loader to load trucks in sand pits, gravel pits, and recycle concrete and asphalt depot\nPeriodic relief of truck scale operator, as and when required.\nPreventative maintenance on machinery/equipment as required.\nAdhering to all safety policies and processes.\nAdditional tasks as required by supervisor.\nFollow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n3+ years’ experience operating Loader in construction environment.\nFamiliar with aggregates and the construction industry required.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAwareness of surroundings and ability to perform job in a safe manner.\nSelf-motivated with good organizational skills.\nAbility to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.\nMust be a team player.\nAecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
