If you’re inspired to make a difference through future-building projects, join our best-in-class team.\nWhat Is The Opportunity?\nAs part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.\nUnder the general direction of the JV Project Manager, the Logistic Co-Ordinator will work with project vendors, partners and site personnel to coordinate material deliveries, movement of material and components between fabricators and site. The Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for requisitioning project materials.\nThis position is located in Cambridge, ON.\nWhat You’ll Do Here\nMaintain excellent relationships with suppliers and project partners\nEstablish and maintain interfaces with other internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers supporting the project\nLiaise with all fabricators to establish and maintain inventory tracing and early identification of material demands\nCoordinate all transportation of materials and modules, including generation of BOL’s and other Aecon-generated documentation\nWork with technical experts to requisition materials based on design requirements\nReport logistical planning and risk to the JV Project Manager\nImplement Joint Venture and Client policies and project procedures as required\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat You Bring To The Team\nEducation to include a technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience\nMinimum 5 years construction/fabrication and subcontractor experience\nAbility to successfully contribute to a logistical project team\nKnowledge of all aspects of construction such as; technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements\nGood communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential\nModerate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel\nAbility to read and understand Cost Reports and Schedules\nBasic presentation skills\nExcellent Interpersonal skills\nReason for vacancy: New Role\nSalary range: $52,000- $91,000\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
