If you’re inspired to make a difference through future-building projects, join our best-in-class team.\nWhat is the Opportunity?\nAs part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.\nThe Project Controls Coordinator will report directly to the Project Controls Manager. This role will be responsible for providing Project Controls guidance and support to DNNP.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nProvide support in developing, establishing, and maintaining the company's project cost/control systems.\nProvide support in proposal and estimating efforts to ensure continuity between project estimates and project baseline.\nProvide support with the development of detailed, resource-loaded schedule.\nAssist the project team in converting project bids to setting up the complete, accurate project baseline (budget, schedule).\nAssist with the set-up of project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit).\nAssist in ensuring all the contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) are applied and fulfilled for project set-up, project tracking and reporting, and project closeout.\nAssist in monitoring project performance and ensure that the project control system is properly implemented.\nGenerate all required project status reports for internal management and for the customer, including the overall project Dashboard, project performance report (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, etc.).\nAssist in the review and analysis of the project schedule and cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost and schedule.\nAssist with the implementation of the change management procedures ensuring compliance with contract conditions and Aecon's standards.\nProvide support to the project team in budget and forecast management during execution to accurately reflect project status.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\n3 years of related project controls construction experience.\nCollege and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.\nOrganizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).\nAbility to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.\nWillingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.\nDetail oriented, organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to prioritize and multi-task/ Service orientated.\nThrive on a fast paced-environment.\nValid G driver's license and access to a vehicle.\nReason for vacancy: Replacement\nPay Range: $75,000 - $90,000\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
