Working closely with clients, the team ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with evolving network demands.\nReporting to the Manager Operations, the Project Coordinator supports project planning and execution by coordinating schedules, documentation, site activities, and compliance needs. The role assists Operations Managers and Superintendents with daily operations, tracks costs and progress, helps manage change orders and risks, and communicates with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and regulators to ensure efficient project delivery.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nSupport the Operations Manager with project data, analysis, and reporting.\nAssist with scheduling work crews and coordinating site previews, inspections, and utility locates.\nManage inventory for materials, specialty tools, and equipment, including procurement, maintenance, and certification.\nMonitor equipment status, scan idle units, and review weekly utilization and idling reports to correct misallocations.\nMaintain the worker Training Matrix and support yard facility operations and upkeep.\nReceive, validate, and process incoming materials, ensuring safe and organized yard storage.\nAssist with vendor pricing agreements and collect required safety and experience documentation from subcontractors.\nTrack safety inspections and reporting in alignment with Aecon’s Health, Safety & Environmental standards.\nReview and summarize Quality Assurance non-conformances and support follow-up actions.\nAnalyze data from various systems to improve operational efficiency and prepare customer-required reports.\nDeliver rush materials or tooling to crews when needed.\nPerform additional duties as required.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nRecent graduate in Civil or Construction Technology/Technician.\nExperience in utility construction is an asset.\nProficient with MS Excel, Word, and MS Project.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nSelf-motivated with solid organizational abilities.\nFlexible and able to adjust to changing schedules and deadlines.\nCollaborative team player.\nValid Ontario Class G driver’s license.\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 per year.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
