Aecon Industrial provides its clients with a vertically integrated solution, self-performing all disciplines of work.\nThe Project Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination support to fabrication facility projects. This role is a support function within the project team and plays a critical role in preparing RFIs, project documentation, schedule updates, and general project coordination activities. The Project Coordinator works closely with construction, engineering, and fabrication teams to ensure information is tracked, organized, and communicated accurately.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nCoordinate and track Requests for Information (RFIs) between construction, engineering, subcontractors, and consultants.\nPrepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, drawings, and records in accordance with project requirements.\nSet up and maintain project folders, document registers, and trackers.\nSupport basic project scheduling activities including updates, progress tracking, and coordination with the project team.\nEnsure current drawings and documents are issued, filed, and communicated correctly.\nAssist with meeting coordination including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.\nSupport change management processes by tracking documentation related to change notices and change orders.\nAssist with preparation of close-out documentation.\nProvide general administrative and coordination support to the Project Manager and project team as required.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nPost-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline is preferred.\n2-5 years of relevant experience in a project coordination or project support role within construction, industrial, or energy-related projects.\nExposure to RFIs, project documentation, and coordination processes on construction projects.\nAbility to support scheduling activities and understand basic project timelines and milestones.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and document control.\nEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.\nComfortable working in both office and site environments.\nProficient in MS Office applications including Excel and Word; experience with project management or document control systems is an asset.\nEager to learn and develop within a project-based environment.\nCommitment to safety, teamwork, and inclusion.\nAecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
