The role provides an opportunity to gain experience and work on other aspects within the Total Rewards domain. Reporting to Manager, Total Rewards, the incumbent will also assist in developing, implementing, improving and supporting programs, processes and tools to help achieve department’s strategic objectives.\nWhat You'll Do Here\nSupport Manager, Total Rewards in designing, building and communicating enterprise-wide compensation policies, programs and processes\nSupport and manage broad-based pay analysis, job framework, incentive plan design, compensation surveys, market pricing, job documentation, job evaluation and pay equity analysis\nSupport annual compensation processes programs including the Annual Salary Review, Short-Term Incentive plan (STIP), and others as required\nAssist in administration of Executive Long-term incentive plan (LTIP) and broad-based equity programs\nPlan and manage delivery of Total compensation summary project annually\nResponsible for administration of Total Rewards documentation (guides, FAQs, forms, etc.) ensuring it is relevant, current and easily accessible\nIdentify opportunities to streamline and modernize existing compensation practices to ensure external competitiveness and comply with regulations or legislation\nSupports organizational compliance with all relevant compensation legislations in Canada and US\nDevelops, monitors, updates and communicates project schedules of track tasks, deadlines and milestones\nSupport and maintain a thorough understanding of Total Rewards policies and practices and support internal and external pension and benefits design, practices and policies\nSupport in implementing and ongoing maintenance of HRIS system for compensation programs and processes\nPreparation of presentations and special reports as required\nSpecial project assistance as required\nWhat You Bring to The Team\n5+ years of progressive compensation experience with good understanding of compensation principles and legislation and a college or university degree\nPrior experience in labor market surveys, HR practices and compensation cycle management\nWorking knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems\nAdequate knowledge of current labor regulations and legislation such as Pay Equity, Pay Transparency etc.\nFamiliarity with various types of incentives and benefits\nCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) Designation or working towards completion\nStrong technical skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products; SharePoint, Excel, etc.\nExperience working with SAP, SAP Business Objects and Success Factors compensation management is an asset\nStrong understanding of benefits and pension legislation and compliance/filing requirements is an asset\nAbility to successfully navigate a fast-paced, complex and changing work environment, while managing multiple and shifting priorities.\nStrong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.\nStrong ability to collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to achieve the best results and deliver the most value\nAct with discretion and confidentiality\nExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills\nExcellent communication skills\nThe expected salary range for this opportunity is $85,000 - $100,000 per year\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
