Join us in being part of a dynamic team building critical infrastructure that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come!\nReporting to the Quality Manager, the Sr. Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the project's Quality Management System (QMS). This role works closely with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements, regulatory standards, and project procedures are consistently followed and documented.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nVerify calibration status of geometric machines, devices, and equipment.\nEnsure subcontractor quality checklists are properly utilized and implemented on site.\nReview subcontractor documentation for compliance with project, CoH, MTO, and regulatory requirements.\nMonitor subcontractor quality control processes and compliance with project procedures.\nConduct routine site inspections and quality surveillance activities to verify compliance with approved inspection and testing requirements.\nReview and maintain quality records and documentation.\nOversee subcontractor submissions, including restoration checklists, U-fill tickets, asphalt truck tickets, backfill records, and supporting quality documentation.\nSupport document control processes through repository and workflow management systems.\nPrepare and conduct surveillance audits of subcontractors.\nSupport internal and external audits by collecting evidence and documenting findings.\nTrack audit findings and ensure timely follow-up and closure.\nIdentify and report non-conformances to the Quality Manager.\nSupport investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.\nMonitor corrective actions through to completion.\nSupport quality training initiatives and promote quality best practices.\nAssist with process improvement initiatives to enhance consistency and reduce errors.\nSupport preparation and presentation of lessons learned sessions across the project team.\nCompile quality metrics and performance data.\nPrepare quality reports identifying trends, recurring issues, and recommend improvement opportunities.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\n5-10 years of experience supporting quality assurance programs on construction sites.\nDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.\nCertified Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.\nStrong understanding of quality documentation and document control requirements.\nExperience conducting audits, managing non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions.\nExperience using document repositories, workflow platforms, and electronic quality management systems.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.\nExperience on major infrastructure, transit, or heavy civil construction projects is considered an asset.\nASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent designation is considered an asset.\nKnowledge of MTO and municipal construction quality requirements is considered an asset.\nAvailability to work fully in-person 5 days per week.\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per year.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
