The joint venture is underway to complete the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement (RFBR) of Units 5-8. Building on the successful delivery of the Darlington Refurbishment Project, the CanAtom team brings proven experience in safely executing complex nuclear projects on time and on budget to support Ontario’s clean energy future.\nReporting to the Subcontracts Manager, the Subcontracts Coordinator is responsible for issuing material requisitions of commodities, equipment, and services as well as shipping/receiving functions.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nPrepare Subcontracts for services including post-award contract administration tasks.\nThe coordination of purchases for a wide range of materials and services.\nPrepare and review purchase requisitions and related documentation to ensure clarity and completeness with the description of materials, components or equipment, quantity, adherence to quality assurance requirements, and obtain required authorization to proceed with the purchase.\nEnter purchase requisitions and other associated essential data into the Project database SAP or other similar system\nEnsure proper drawings, technical specifications, and quotes are included with the SAP requisitions.\nThis position will be the primary Liaison to maintain effective communication between the Project Team, Engineering, Construction and Procurement to ensure materials and services are purchased in accordance with quality requirements while adhering to schedule.\nWork closely with the Procurement team to develop reports and provide updates as required regarding delivery dates and financial data.\nMonitor material deliveries to assist Procurement and Materials Management teams to identify critical deliveries to site.\nExpediting of materials as required.\nWork from Whitby-Tricont Office.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\n5+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry in a procurement or project coordination role.\nBachelor’s degree or an educational background in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering, is required.\nAble to travel between Whitby-Tricont office, Pickering office and site on occasion.\nExperience in drafting and administering contracts.\nBasic knowledge of contract administration procedures.\nKnowledge of SAP would be an asset.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.\nAbility to meet deadlines and manage priorities is critical.\nGood Interpersonal skills are essential.\nCustomer service oriented.\nAt CanAtom, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace.
