If you’re inspired to make a difference through future-building projects, join our best-in-class team.\nWhat is the Opportunity?\nThe purpose of this position is to develop, deliver, and evaluate our weld program to ensure all personnel are properly qualified to participate in the construction of the SMR units. A systematic approach to training (SAT) and adult learning principles will be utilized throughout the delivery of this training program. Updating course curriculums, lesson plans, and training modules as well as mandatory or periodic refresher courses. Our training program includes interactive classroom sessions, e-learning simulators, practical hands-on learning, and tool-specific familiarization.\nThis position is a unionized role offering the opportunity to contribute to a diverse and professional team.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain training packages (control of all documents).\nPrepare instructional presentations and attendance records.\nMaintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for worker qualifications.\nCollaborate closely with training managers, supervision, and other trainers in the welding program.\nPromote a culture of safety, quality, and participation in all aspects of the welding training program.\nIdentify ongoing training demands from across the project.\nPerform additional related duties when called upon (tool development and integration).\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nPost-secondary degree/diploma such as a completed apprenticeship.\nMinimum of three to five years of nuclear experience (security clearance).\nFamiliarity with welding processes.\nRed Seal trade certification.\nKnowledge of the EPSCA collective agreement.\nAbility to adapt tone, pace, and language to match the audience's background and learning style.\nAbility to build trust with learners and inspire genuine motivation.\nAbility to manage classroom dynamics, diverse personalities, and potential pushback.\nAbility to be based in an office, classroom, or protected area environment.\nOccasional travel may be required to support project and operational needs.\nReason for Vacancy: New\nThe expected pay range for this role is $60 - $61 per hour.\nIndividual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions.
