He or she will also track and replenish appropriate quality control and/or reagent materials to laboratory departments. He or she reviews and verifies proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of all laboratory small equipment as necessary.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nEnsure proper documentation, use, and disposal of:Reference standards\nCalibrators\nControls\nReagents\nBlind Quality Control material\n\nPrepare and document the quality and assist in the verification of:Reagents\nCalibrators\nQuality Control materials\n\nPerform calibration, maintenance, and ensure cleanliness of:Pipettes\nThermometers/Temperature Sensors\nBalances\nTimers\nCentrifuges\nGlassware\nAnd other small laboratory equipment as appropriate\n\nParticipate in method validation and enhancement through preparation of QC standards\nComply with all team and laboratory safety and quality procedures and requirements\nMay perform hazardous waste activities such as handling, disposal, moving waste drums/containers, and signing hazardous waste manifests;
