Ensure 100% compliance with all JSA’s, safety training material and safety communications\nMaintain safe work conditions and safe work practices\nIn partnership with the Maintenance Manager, evaluate the training needs within the Maintenance department and assist in the training of associates in department procedures\nDirect work and calls to appropriate associates for repairs and Preventative Maintenance\nObtain pricing and ordering of parts for the maintenance department when needed\nEntering new parts and equipment into the inventory system when needed\nScheduling and entering of Preventative Maintenance tasks into the MP-2 system when needed\nGenerate reports from the MP-2 maintenance software\nRender preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor and material handling equipment\nComplete electrical diagnosis and repair\nProvide facility maintenance and repair\nPerform general construction\nPromote and conduct good housekeeping practices including 5S principles\nPerform other duties as assigned\nAs needed, will assume the responsibilities of the Senior Qualified Person for Arc Flash policy\nWorking knowledge of time management software - Kronos \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nIndustrial maintenance mechanic, skill trades or equivalent certificate, required\nUp to 2 years demonstrated leadership experience, required\n5 years previous maintenance experience, required\nARC Flash knowledge and experience, required\nProficient in principles and implementation of 5S, required\nProgrammable Logic Controller experience a plus\nMP-2 maintenance software experience a plus\nHigh degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications\nStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team\nAbility to work with and influence senior management\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment\nSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting\nFlexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request/as needed\nAEO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to complying with all federal and provincial equal employment opportunity and human rights laws.
