We’re looking for a strong team member with professional services experience who wants to contribute to our incredible culture, make a meaningful impact on client deliverables, and work collaboratively with an award-winning team. \nWho You Are\nYou have experience integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform.\n\nYou worked in the agencies/professional services companies, are consultative, professional, client-facing, and have impeccable communication skills.\n\nYou can handle working on multiple projects or tasks and keep them all under control.\n\nYou are passionate about technology and using it to help solve complex business challenges.\n\nYou easily transform business requirements into technical architecture.\n\nYou collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and your development team to deliver compelling products and services.\n\nYou learn fast (like, really fast) and are ready to make a big impact.\n\nYou apply Agile values to your work and understand how they can improve your team’s success.\n\nYou value writing clean, maintainable, testable code that solves business problems quickly.\n\nYou are proactive, engaged, consultative, and comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges.\n\nYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood teamwork skills and experience performing peer code reviews.\n\nMust-Have Qualifications:\n2+ years of hands-on commercial experience integrating, extending, or implementing the Backbase Digital Banking Platform in production environments.\n\n5+ years of production-level experience with Java, Spring, and Spring extensions, like Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.\n\nSOAP and RESTful Web Services and tools like XML, JSON, and RAML.\n\nMicroservices architecture knowledge.\n\nExperience performing Unit Testing using JUnit.\n\nKnowledge of application Servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss.\n\nStrong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel.\n\nExperience developing large-scale distributed systems.\n\nExperience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.\n\nExperience with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.\n\nExperience with security and systems that handle sensitive data.\n\nExperience in the financial services industry or professional services.\n\nBachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field.\n\nExperience with Agile Methodology, such as Scrum and Kanban.\n\nKnowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).\n\nLocationThis is a 100% remote full-time position for candidates based in the Americas. Candidates located outside of Canada will only be able to work for the company as independent contractors. \nCompensationThe salary range for this position isCAD $90K-$130K annually (or the equivalent hourly rate for candidates outside of Canada, who will be working as Contractors).
