This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager at our facility in Riverbank, Ca.\nResponsibilities\n\nCommunicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with other team members, production personnel, and outside contractors/suppliers by both conducting work as well as distributing tasks within the group.\nRequisition parts/materials manage spending for projects and department within budget (as required).\nLead Facilities related activities and projects.\nDraft validation documentation (protocols, requirements, reports etc.).\nAttend/Lead facility team meetings.\nReview all work orders, completion and closure by required deadlines.\nAssist team in setting priorities for direct reports.\nCoordinates maintenance activities with manufacturing leads and supervisors.\nResponsible for maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with Cal OSHA and other Local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.\nHandle general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including minor electrical, finish work, painting, conference room set-up, plumbing, etc.\nMay periodically be required to work on alternate shifts such as swing, graveyard and/or weekends.\nService and repair of equipment and systems to meet GMP throughout the facility and laboratories.\nProvide oversight and direction to facilities personnel and act with authority.\nAssist with special projects as requested.\nQualifications\n\nHigh school diploma, technical training and/or college coursework, four-year degree preferred.\n5 years of facility maintenance experience and/or supervisory skills required.\nKnowledge of maintenance and operation of building automation, water treatment and fire life safety systems.\nPrevious experience leading teams and/or in a supervisory role\nAbility to use hand tools and power tools.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nValid driver's license.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools.\n\nWork Environment:\nThis position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet.
