Your code will influence decisions about actual physical crops growing in actual orchards, and you'll do it with a team that values execution, pragmatism, and impact over process and perfection. In our tech team, you will be bringing our state-of-the-art AI models to farming operations around the world. Our users include growers, packhouse managers, fruit exporters and business decision makers.\nYou will collaborate closely with our product team to gain a deep understanding of our users - to bring them the features they want the most. You will play a key role in our effort to deliver technology that solves some of agriculture's hardest problems.\nWhat you’ll need\nDemonstrated experience of solving complex technical problems at tech and product-driven companies \nPractical experience building production software systems\nBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)\nHighly proactive & critical approach to problem solving\nWorks independently and takes initiative on projects from idea to execution\nAbility to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines\nAbility to naturally balance technical exploration with practical delivery - you know when to go deep and when to ship\nProficiency in our technologies (see below on what this looks like)\nSome experience with relational databases \nAmbition & strong motivation to make an impact in AgTech\nAbility to work in-person with our team 3 days a week\nOur Tech Stack\nWe use Python (Django REST Framework) for our backend, React/TypeScript/React Native on the frontend, and modern ML technologies (Hugging Face, Vision Transformers, etc).
