In this role, you will design assemblies and components in SolidWorks, prove them with strength calculations and testing, take prototypes through manufacturing with production and suppliers, and see your designs in action at wind farms.\nYour work runs from CAD model to prototype to commissioning in the field, so you’ll see exactly how your designs perform and what to improve next.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign mechanical systems, assemblies and components for robotic equipment in SolidWorks, taking them from concept to production-ready design.\nCarry out structural strength calculations and engineering analysis to confirm designs are reliable, safe and perform under operating loads.\nSelect materials, standard components and manufacturing processes, applying design for manufacturing and assembly principles.\nPrepare and maintain complete technical documentation, including 3D models, manufacturing drawings with appropriate tolerances, and bills of materials (BOM).\nIntegrate drives, actuators, sensors and control hardware into your designs, working closely with electrical and automation engineers.\nOversee prototype manufacturing and assembly together with production and suppliers.\nPlan and run prototype and validation tests, analyse the results and feed the findings into the next design iteration.\nImprove existing equipment based on field feedback, failure analysis and performance data, and evaluate new technologies, components and design approaches to advance our robotic systems.\nTake part in on-site testing and commissioning of our robots at wind farms.\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\nStrong experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software, from concept through to production-ready design.\nSolid knowledge of structural strength calculations and engineering analysis.\nProven experience in a mechanical engineering role, designing mechanical systems and assemblies.\nA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.\nA good understanding of electronics and industrial automation principles.\nStrong attention to detail, quality and precision.\nA proactive, problem-solving approach, with ownership of results and the drive to keep improving how things are done.\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with proficiency in Latvian and English.\nNice to Have\nExperience with simulation or FEA tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.\nExperience designing robotic, automated or heavy-duty field equipment.\nKnowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay with a salary of €2,800-€3,500 gross/month.\nGlobal impact through robotics shaping the future of renewable energy.\nCareer growth with real opportunities to learn, develop, and advance.\nCutting-edge technology with hands-on experience in innovative robotics.\nEnjoy the journey with team events, celebrations, and a vibrant company culture.\nHealth insurance after your probation period.\nExtra time to recharge with additional Health Recovery Days.\nLearning support with paid study leave.\nLife-event benefits to support you when it matters most.\nReady to make an impact?\nIf you’re excited about solving real challenges, working with great people, and contributing to technology shaping the future of renewable energy, we’d love to hear from you.
