In industries where risk mitigation and user experience matter most, our platform gives our partners a faster, safer and more intuitive way to pay.\nAeropay is redefining what it means to pay-and get paid-by bank.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Solutions Engineer is responsible for the successful implementation and optimization of technical solutions for Aeropay’s clients. In this hands-on role, you’ll be the technical owner for clients across the full lifecycle of their relationship with Aeropay, from early technical conversations through integration, launch and ongoing support.\nIntegrations are at the center of this role. You’ll work with clients to understand their technical requirements, guide them through integration, solve complex issues as they come up and keep them running smoothly once they’re live. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Revenue, and you’ll be someone who uses AI and modern tools to work faster and solve problems more creatively.\nKey Responsibilities:\nClient Integrations:\nCollaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges and goals\nDesign and deliver technical solutions, guiding clients through API integrations, testing and launch\nHelp clients reach their first live payment quickly and set them up to scale with Aeropay\nTechnical Support & Issue Resolution:\nAct as the technical point of contact for clients throughout their lifecycle with Aeropay\nManage a high volume of technical requests, including sandbox setup and tier 3 support\nTroubleshoot client issues end to end, resolving what you can and escalating to Engineering or Product when needed\nCross-Functional Partnership:\nWork closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Revenue to align on client needs and priorities\nSupport the Revenue team with technical expertise during the evaluation process\nBring client feedback and recurring technical issues back to leadership, Product and Engineering as clear, actionable insights\nDocumentation & Process Improvement:\nBuild and maintain technical documentation, integration guides and internal processes\nUse AI and automation to improve how the Solutions Engineering team works as Aeropay scales\nQualifications:\n3-5 years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as solutions engineering, technical account management, technical product or software engineering\nHands-on experience with APIs, integrations and troubleshooting technical issues\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences\nAI-forward; you use AI and agentic tools in your day-to-day work, understand where they fall short and know how to work around those limitations\nStrong problem-solving skills and comfort managing many client requests at once\nA track record of learning new technical skills on your own\nExperience operating in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment where proactive ownership is expected\nExperience in fintech, payments or ACH a plus\nCloud platform or scripting experience a plus\nWorking Location, Compensation & Benefits:\nThis role is expected to be in office at Aeropay’s downtown Chicago HQ weekly from Monday through Thursday\nSalary Range: $100K - $130K base salary (DOE)\nBenefits Offered:Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\n401(k) Employer Match\nFlexible PTO\n\nNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
