This position works directly on active construction sites to help builders meet energy code requirements, pass inspections, and achieve HERS ratings.\nQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:\nConstruction, insulation, or HVAC experience preferred\nBasic understanding of building science and energy efficiency\nAbility to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions\nStrong attention to detail and quality of work\nAbility to work independently and within a team\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites\nPerformance Expectations:\nAchieve required blower door and duct leakage targets\nMinimize rework and failed inspections\nMaintain productivity and meet builder schedules\nDeliver consistent, high-quality installation and testing support\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform air sealing installation including caulking, foaming, weatherstripping, and sealing building envelope penetrations\nExecute or assist with duct sealing activities on HVAC systems\nSupport or perform blower door testing and duct leakage testing\nIdentify air leakage and insulation deficiencies in the building envelope\nWork with builders and site supervisors to address performance issues\nEnsure compliance with IECC, ENERGY STAR, and HERS program requirements\nDocument completed work, job conditions, and test results\nMaintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness\nTools & Work Environment:\nBlower door and duct testing equipment\nFoam guns, caulking tools, and sealing materials\nLadders, attics, crawlspaces, and unfinished construction sites\nActive residential construction environments\nThe estimated pay range for this role is $19.00-20.00. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location.
