Accounting & General Ledger Operations\nMaintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely expense coding of all financial transactions.\nSupport AeroShield’s 3rd party consulting firm with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes\nPerform routine bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.\nDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nCoordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews with CPA firms and regulatory bodies.\n2. Payroll & Benefits Administration\nOversee and execute payroll processing for regular and contingent staff accurately and on schedule.\nManage employee benefits programs (health insurance, 401(k)/pension plans, PTO tracking) in coordination with HR and third-party vendors.\nEnsure strict compliance with local, state, and federal payroll taxes and labor laws.\nResolve employee payroll inquiries and administer adjustments, bonuses, and commission payments.\n3. Expense Tracking & Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR)\nManage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoice verification, approval workflows, and timely payments.\nOversee Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing customers/clients, tracking receipts, and managing collections.\nAdminister corporate expense management systems and monitor employee expense report submissions against company policies.\nMaintain positive vendor relationships and negotiate payment terms when necessary.\n4. Budgeting & Financial Reporting\nLead the annual budgeting process and work closely with department heads to formulate operational budgets.\nPrepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).\nMonitor cash flow, develop cash forecasts, and implement strategies to optimize working capital.\nPerform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide actionable insights to executive leadership to guide strategic decision-making.\nDevelop custom KPI dashboards and financial models for management review.\nQualifications:\nMany great team members do not fit a ‘standard blueprint’.
