This is a full-stack role for an engineer who enjoys turning complex infrastructure into simple, polished product experiences.\nYou’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Cloud engineering teams and have significant ownership over both what we build and how we build it.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild the Cloud product experience. Develop the console, APIs, and workflows customers use to provision, manage, and understand Aerospike Cloud.\nWork across the stack. Build polished frontend experiences as well as the APIs and services that power them.\nMake complex systems simple. Turn infrastructure concepts like clusters, usage, billing, entitlements, and telemetry into intuitive developer experiences.\nOwn meaningful product areas. Take features from design and architecture through implementation, launch, and production operation.\nBuild for reliability and scale. Design software that works well across a multi-tenant, multi-cloud environment.\nRaise the engineering bar. Write high-quality, well-tested code, contribute to architecture, and help improve the team's engineering practices.\nPartner closely. Collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to rapidly turn customer and business needs into working software.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.\nStrong experience with modern frontend development, ideally React and TypeScript.\nExperience building APIs and backend services using technologies such as Go, Node.js, Java, or similar.\nExperience building SaaS, developer tools, cloud consoles, or other technically complex products.\nStrong product instincts and an eye for usability-you care about how software feels, not just whether it works.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nFamiliarity with distributed systems, APIs, and modern cloud-native environments.\nStrong ownership mindset and comfort operating the software you build in production.\nNice to Have\nExperience with billing, usage metering, licensing, or entitlements.\nExperience building customer-facing metrics, telemetry, or observability experiences.\nFamiliarity with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Go.\nExperience building products for developers or infrastructure teams.\nFamiliarity with databases or distributed data systems.\nSalary Range: $160,000 - $205,000\n(Actual compensation will be based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.)\nAerospike is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
