This may include electrical controls, circuits, control panels, forklifts, cranes, company vehicles and other operations equipment in the plant.\nSolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment\n(Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment\nTroubleshoot mechanical breakdowns\nReplaces parts by operating machine tools, welding (pending plant location) or brazier as needed.\nFollows prescribed preventative maintenance schedule in oiling, greasing and calibration of machinery.\nCollaborates with manager to develop tasks and fixtures which would improve facility processes.\nWork with vendors coming on-site for scheduled repairs.\nDouble checks that safety devices are in working order on all machines and equipment.\nProvide training for new technicians.\nMaintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space\nAct, Live, and Behave by TCF Core Values.\nAdditional duties may be assigned, dependent upon location and product line.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequires a high school diploma\n3+ years of experience or Technical Associates degree and 2 years experience\nRead and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions, electrical diagrams and schematics, test sheets, completion sheets and quality assurance sheets\nBasic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.\nBasic Microsoft office required\nAbility to use hand tools in a safe and proper manner.\nAbility to read and speak English a plus\nBased on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.\nCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND REQUIRED TRAINING\nThe following certifications and training, if required, will be provided by the company:\nLock Out/Tag Out Training\nJSA completion, Forklift Operations, PPE identification and usage, Crane Training, hazard awareness/identification, Lift table operations, Rigging safety\nUnderstands SQDE Metrics, LDMS, Issue boards, 5S\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS\nTo successfully perform the essential function of this position, employees must have the ability to:\nContinuously lift/move 10 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.\nContinuously stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk; and hear.\nOccasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms at waist level and below the waist, and work in limited space.\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.\nAs a Maintenance Technician you will be offered pay of $23.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience.
