Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production/department schedules and goals.\nUphold 5S requirements and maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.\nEnsure a safe place to work.\nSupport communication by having daily pre-shift huddles.\nDaily management of employee issues and problem resolution.\nEnsure good teamwork among value stream employees.\nImprove morale and motivation through implementation.\nComplete annual performance reviews for operators in area of responsibility.\nComply with the policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the TCF Quality System.\nAct, Live, and Behave by TCF Core Values\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED (required) Bachelor’s degree (preferred)\nFamiliarity with ISO9001 requirements\n2 - 5 years leading or supervising other,\nProven ability to effectively lead and direct the work of others, and delegate as needed.\nAbility to read and interpret documents, such as policies and procedures, work instructions and standards.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMeticulous record-keeping capability.\nExcellent prioritization and organizational skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of employee information. This includes, but is not limited to: performance, illness, investigations and personal information.\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and personnel with little to no supervision.\nHigh level of initiative and flexibility in adapting to changing needs of a dynamic work environment.\nProficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.\nCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND REQUIRED TRAINING\nThe following certifications and training, if required, will be provided by the company:\nForklift Certificate\nBridge Crane Training\nFall Protection Training\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS\nTo successfully perform the essential function of this position, employees must have the ability to:\nOccasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.\nContinuously or as needed, stand; walk; use hands to finger, ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in small spaces.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is continuously exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles and/or caustic chemicals.
