This position is ideal for recent graduates or current students passionate about video editing, design, and storytelling looking to gain hands-on experience bringing real-world digital campaigns to life from concept through execution.\nThis is a part-time position averaging 20 hours a week.\nReporting to the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Associate will focus on strengthening brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and helping support integrated marketing campaigns. The role collaborates closely with both the Social, Creative Design, and Product Marketing teams to develop thoughtful, high-impact content that aligns with brand standards and resonates with target audiences.\nThis role offers exposure to the full content lifecycle from trend research and ideation to production, publishing, and performance analysis.\nPosition Responsibilities\nMonitor social media trends and conduct social listening to identify relevant content opportunities and competitive insights that inform strategy.\nAssist in managing and updating the social media content calendar.\nSupport video editing for social platforms using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut, including long-form and short-form content.\nPerform basic photo editing and retouching using Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.\nCreate visual assets, including social media posts and stories, presentation slides, and materials for market research and campaign concepts.\nCollaborate with the social team to develop, review, and refine content to ensure alignment with target audiences.\nCollaborate on paid media campaigns including Google Adwords, Programmatic Display, and Paid Social platforms\nTrack and analyze social media performance metrics, identifying insights to improve future content.\nContribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, including platform-specific concepts and culturally relevant content for the defense industry.\nMarketing Strategy Support\nContribute to content strategies and presentations that reinforce brand consistency and visibility across social channels.\nConduct competitive analysis to support campaign planning, content differentiation, and platform best practices.\nExplore and evaluate AI tools that enhance content creation efficiency, from ideation to performance analysis.\nMonitor the performance of select posts or campaigns and help prepare summary reports highlighting key trends and outcomes.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)\nRole is based at AV’s Arlington, Virginia headquarters. Candidate must be able to travel to AV offices in Crystal City.\nBA degree or Current upperclassmen in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field of study.\nHands-on experience with all major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok).\nHands-on experience with digital content creation.\nFamiliarity with social media publishing tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, HubSpo or similar.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Monday.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.\nWillingness to learn new tools and thrive in a fast-paced environment\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)\nRequired to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)\nSpecial Requirements\nU.S. Citizenship Required.\nClearance Level\nNo ClearanceThe salary range for this role is:\n$23 - $35AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.\nITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
