This position will manage, administer, and coordinate industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Manage a small team of Facility Security Officers across the enterprise, assuring the security of people, facilities, programs, and operations in a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographically dispersed set of National Security efforts.\nThe successful candidate will provide support at two (2) local sites; leadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations; work along side the Sr Manager and Director on the development and execution of security for programs, contracts and operations ranging from unclassified, CUI, Collateral programs.\nPosition Responsibilities\nProvide guidance, and professional development for security professionals. Ensure that the team fosters a cohesive and collaborative environment where diversity and innovation is encouraged\nManage the integration of related industrial security initiatives across the enterprise and ensure employee engagement and facilities change as necessary to meet contract compliance while meeting operational and business goals\nParticipate in the investigation of Security incidents and assist with disciplinary and legal matters as necessary\nMaintain all security documentation and files in accordance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements.\nMaintain Facility Security Clearance (FCL) documentation and submission in accordance with DCSA requirements.\nMaintain DD-254s including compiling and disseminating sub-DD254s.\nProvide and document new employee security briefings, exit interviews and debriefing, investigate and report security violations and incidents.\nMaintain classified holdings and prepare classified transmittals in accordance with NISPOM guidelines and requirements.\nParticipate and oversee annual refresher training to include preparing necessary documentation in support of the DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments.\nExperience with the classification management process and classification guides associated with DoD and IC information. \nAbility to create and use Security Classification Guides\nMaintain a working relationship with DCSA or other Federal Agencies and each contract's security office.\nPerform daily security activities and enforce government and company security policies.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)\nCandidates must have at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Security across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM - Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber Information Assurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning and execution\nMust have at least 3+ years of demonstrated management and/or leadership experience in National Security classified programs and managing resources and budgets for small security teams\nCandidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance in order to be considered\nCompletion of FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training\nExperience with the development and implementation of security related training to include Initial Security Briefings, Insider Threat, CI awareness and OPSEC, just to name a few\nDemonstrated experience in the construction of secure spaces such as Closed Areas, SCIFs and/or SAPF\nOther Qualifications & Desired Competencies\nProven ability and experience working with US Government security leadership in DOD and IC security programs\nExperience and direct participation with Government/Industry Security Organizations (NCMS ISWG, NDIA, AIA, etc.)\nPossess a breadth of demonstrated business and management skills, knowledge and abilities. \nPhysical Demands\nAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)\nRequired to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)\nClearance Level\nTop SecretThe salary range for this role is:\n$122,500 - $187,000AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.\nITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
