This position is a technical hands-on position supporting HPDA’s portfolio of projects. This is not your typical Systems Engineer position. In this position, the Systems Engineer shall be responsible for software integration efforts, PKI infrastructure, and maintaining automated infrastructure solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of HPC systems in a Linux environment.\nPosition Required Skills\nProficient using the Linux CLI\nDemonstrated experience writing scripts using Bash/Python\nLinux administration experience including software integration, service management, configuration management, and routine sustainment operations related to provisioning, storage, and networking.\nExperience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environment\nExperience with FOOS Secret Management products including Vault\nExperience with stream/batch Big Data processing and analytic frameworks\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI \nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker\nExperience with Kubernetes container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes\nKnowledge of PKI infrastructure, principles, and concepts including managing PKI certificate lifecycle, NPE, wildcards, and FQDN\nExperience with Git for source code management\nPosition Desired Skills\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\nDemonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana\nRequired Skills:\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly\nTwenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nSalary Range: $163,000-$228,000\nITAR Requirement:\nThis position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
