This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You’ll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.\nPosition Responsiblities:\nProvide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.\n\nManage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.\n\nConfigure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.\n\nSupport vulnerability management using Nessus.\n\nHandle STE/STN scoring and documentation.\n\nMaintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.\n\nCollaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.\n\nAnalyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.\n\n Basic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computuer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience\n\nMinimum 10+ years of system administration experience\n\nStrong RedHat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.\n\nFamiliarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and STE/STN initiatives.\n\nExperience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.\n\nAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph.\n\nOther Qualification & Desired Competencies:\nExperience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.\n\nSalary Range: $150,000 - $175,000\nThe BlueHalo, an AV Company, pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
