The role covers all design stages, from feasibility and concept to detailed design, as well as the identification of existing utilities, the resolution of utility conflicts and the follow-up of authority approvals.\nResponsibilities\nDesign\nDesign potable water, fire water, sewerage, stormwater, TSE and irrigation networks.\nPrepare water and wastewater demand calculations and stormwater runoff calculations.\nCarry out hydraulic analysis and network sizing for gravity and pressure systems.\nPrepare concept and detailed design of pumping stations, tanks and related structures.\nPrepare network layouts, longitudinal profiles, typical sections and standard details.\nPrepare quantities and bills of quantities (BOQ) and support cost estimates.\nPrepare design basis reports, calculation reports and technical specifications.\nExisting utilities\nCollect and review utility records and as-built drawings from authorities and utility providers.\nCoordinate utility surveys and trial pits and review the results.\nIdentify existing utilities affected by new works and keep the utility conflict register.\nPropose diversion, relocation and protection solutions for affected utilities.\nPlan utility connections and disconnections for existing and new facilities.\nCoordination and approvals\nPrepare authority submissions, data requests and NOC applications and follow them up until approval.\nCoordinate with the client, Abu Dhabi authorities and utility providers.\nCoordinate the wet utilities design with roads, dry utilities, structures and other disciplines.\nAttend technical and coordination meetings and follow up the actions.\nRespond to review comments and update the design.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in wet utilities design in the UAE.\nGood knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority and utility provider standards and approval procedures.\nHands-on experience in hydraulic modelling (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD or similar).\nGood knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.\nAble to prepare calculations, reports and quantities with limited supervision.\nGood written and spoken English.\nPreferred:\nExperience on airport or large infrastructure projects.\nExperience in utility diversions and conflict resolution.\nUAE driving licence.\nRegistration with the UAE Society of
