The ideal candidate has a solid background in project management, expertise in low voltage systems, and experience with network hardware deployment. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to team coordination and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.\nRESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nProject Initiation:\noReview and fully understand contract and pre-sale deliverables: Sales Budget, Scope of Work, Design, Circuit Provider plan, and revenue/conversion model - to ensure proper delivery of system and services\noPlan, manage, and execute projects related to low voltage cabling and network hardware installations.\noDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.\noMonitor and report on project progress and ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards.\nTeam Leadership & Coordination:\noSupervise and coordinate teams within Aerwave, including CSM, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership, as well as subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals\noAssign tasks, set expectations, and monitor/report performance.\noFoster collaboration and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders.\noMentors & provides guidance to new hires and the rest of the PM team.\nTechnical Management:\noOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems (structured cabling, fiber optics, etc.) and network hardware (routers, switches, access points).\noTroubleshoot and resolve issues during the project lifecycle utilizing company resources and management as necessary\nClient Engagement:\noServe as the primary point of contact for ownership clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.\noProvide regular project updates, including progress reports, milestones, and risk assessments.\noAddress client concerns promptly and professionally.\nBudget and Resource Management:\noTrack project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.\noManage procurement of equipment, materials, and resources required for installations.\noReview and approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.\noMonitor Accounts Receivables and assist with collections as necessary.\nCompliance and Quality Assurance:\noEnsure site inspections occur by Construction Manager to verify work quality and adherence to Aerwave standards\noEnsure proper documentation of installations, configurations, and as-built drawings.\nRisk Management:\noIdentify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.\noResolve conflicts or delays that arise during project execution.\noEscalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.\nProject Plan and Schedule Management:\noCreate and Update Project Plan and Schedule accounting for all relevant in-scope items, tasks, responsibilities and due dates\noEnsure project phase completions occur with all deliverables submitted prior to closing the phase\noEnsure completion of all tasks and activities are QC'ed by the appropriate subject matter expert (SME)\noEnsure proper punch-list completion along with all closeout materials submitted\noSchedule and execute Closeout Meetings and guide all stakeholder through Lessons Learned process\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Telecommunications or a related field or combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of experience managing projects involving low voltage systems and network hardware installations.\nStrong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optics, and network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, access points).\nFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI).\nProficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and technical documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD).\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.\nProficient in project management tools and software.\nExperience in tenant finish out project management, expediting, and logistics management.\nExperience in inspection and compliance with regulations.\nExcellent communication and team leadership skills.\nUnderstand critical milestones that drive operational excellence.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in the use of a computer, and software applications including Microsoft Office.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nHighly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously (multi-task).\nEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with personnel at all levels, both within and outside the company.\nAbility to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.\nEasily takes initiative and works independently.\nMaturity, professionalism, and good work ethic.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCAPM/PMP or equivalent project management certification.\nNetworking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+)\nBenefits:\nJoin a dynamic, fast-growing company where you will have the opportunity to make an immediate, high-level impact to Aerwave’s growth and success.\nClear line of sight for career advancement and significant accomplishments.\nBase salary that is externally competitive and bonuses and ad-hoc recognition awards, that are based on efforts and tied to performance.\nWe work hard at Aerwave, and you will too.
