This role supports the formulation and execution of Group HR initiatives to enhance organizational capability, operational efficiency and employee engagement across the region.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nGroup Governance & Employee Engagement\nAssist in formulating, reviewing, alignment and continual improvement of HR policies, employee handbook, processes and procedures. \nEnsure compliance with employment laws and statutory requirements across all HR management practices. \nProvide advisory support and guidance to line managers on HR processes, employee relations, and conflict management, in alignment with both Country and Group employment regulations.\nDrive HR projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure the efficient maintenance and accuracy of HR employee databases, including HRIS, recruitment platforms, HR subsite and document management systems.\nConduct periodic HR compliance reviews across business units and collaborate with local HR personnel in the implementation of corrective/ or improvement actions, act as an interface for external audit. \nLead Group-wide employee engagement programmes and liaising with respective local HR team.\nGroup Training & Development\nDesign, implement and evaluate the learning and development programs, training framework/schedule in alignment with business and talent strategies.\nIdentify training needs through performance reviews, feedback and skills assessments and propose appropriate learning interventions.\nManage the e-learning portal, including content development, employee data and dashboards, while driving learning and development initiatives such as e-learning programmes and knowledge-sharing sessions.\nPartner with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver effective learning solutions.\nRegional HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle\nResponsible for regional HR operations and administrative functions, including but not limited to maintaining training records, updating job descriptions, preparing employment contracts, HRIS administration, employee engagement initiatives and ensuring proper document management.\nResponsible for end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, performance tracking and offboarding. \nPartner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies. \nResponsible for regional compensation and benefits including but not limited to end-to-end performance review cycle, etc.\nManage regional annual insurance renewals and processes including staff insurance registration/de-registration and handle employees’ enquiries. \nEstablish and monitor service level agreements (SLA) for outsourced payroll and tax services include liaising with respective stakeholders on regional HR operational matters.\nSupport and guide junior HR team member(s) as needed.\nBackup HR payroll and/or operational matters in the absence of the HR team. \nAd-hoc tasks as assigned.\nRequirements\nMinimum Diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to learning and development and regional HR operational.\nFamiliar with compliance requirements in ASEAN countries.\nExperience in training & development programs that drive employee growth and performance. \nExcellent critical analytical thinking skills with a keen eye for details, structured approach and consistent follow-through. \nStrong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and balance both strategic and operational HR responsibilities.\nProficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.\nCandidate with TimesPro system and maritime industry experience will be an added
