Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.\nRole Overview:\nWe are looking for a Manager, Laser NPI, to own design, manufacture, integration, validation, and qualification of lasers and amplifiers across business verticals\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn roadmap, execution, validation, and delivery for cutting edge laser and amplifier products acrossbusiness verticals\n\nLead a team of engineers to transition lasers and amplifiers from development to production\nDevelop engineering requirement documents for a variety of product lines to ensure devices meetrequired performance, yield, and cost metrics\n\nLead integration of IIIV devices into product by working across teams to develop packaging andintegration based on BKM\n\nLead design for performance to specs, manufacturing, reliability, test - DFx methodologies\nOwn the detailed characterization of IIIV devices to provide iterative design feedback\nDesign and develop integrated multi-wavelength lasers for various applications\nOwn definition of test strategy & oversee implementation for validation, reliability, NPI, andproduction\n\nDefine lot strategy and splits to improve performance of base designs developed in R&D\nOwn the NPI and transition to high volume production of cutting edge IIIV device with high yield andlow cost\n\nWork with internal and external design development teams to develop devices that meet requiredproduct specifications\n\nWhat you have:\n5+ years of experience with leading teams and delivering cutting edge products\nDemonstrated experience with 4 or more of the following -
