Instead, you bring deep technical strength in core architecture combined with enough multi-platform breadth to guide the development team, evaluate technical trade-offs, and ensure overall delivery velocity and quality.\nYou will act as the operational bridge between the business team, the solution architect and the remote software engineering team, turning high-level business requirements and system blueprints into executable sprints.\nResponsibilitiesRemote Team Leadership & Delivery\n\nLead, mentor, and drive delivery for a remote engineering team composed of frontend, mobile, backend, and QA engineers.\n\nDrive day-to-day Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-team unblocking).\n\nManage engineering sprint velocity, resolve scope ambiguity, and track cross-layer dependencies (e.g., ensuring backend APIs are ready when mobile/web teams need them).\n\nUphold code review standards, documentation hygiene, and automated testing quality across the team.\n2. End-to-End Technical Alignment & Integration\n\nPartner closely with business team and solution architect to translate business requirements and solution blueprints into detailed technical tasks and milestone deliverables.\n\nProvide technical direction and cohesion across the multi-platform stack:\n\nSystem & Backend: Drive design decisions on API schemas, data persistence, and microservices/serverless architectures.\n\nMobile & Web: Guide and evaluate mobile (iOS/Android/Cross-platform) and web frontend teams on state management, security, performance, and contract compliance.\n\nCloud & DevOps: Oversee automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.\n\nIdentify technical debt, architecture risks, and non-functional bottlenecks (latency, scalability, data privacy) early.\n3. Medical Device Quality & Compliance\n\nEnsure team execution adheres to medical device software lifecycle standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) and security/data privacy guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).\n\nOversee the technical documentation required for verification, validation (V&V), and regulatory audits.\n\nRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n\n6+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a tech lead, team lead, or engineering management capacity.\n\nCore Technical Depth: \n\nProven deep proficiency in at least one major layer of the modern tech stack (e.g., Backend systems in Python, Node.js, or Java).\n\nStrong expertise in relational and non-relational database design, distributed systems, and API design principles.\n\nMulti-Platform Architectural Fluency:\n\nConceptual and working understanding of modern mobile development (e.g., Flutter, React Native, iOS/Android lifecycle) and modern web frontend (e.g., React, TypeScript, Vue) sufficient to review technical proposals, debug cross-system boundaries, and unblock engineers.\n\nSolid working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and automated CI/CD pipelines.\n\nProven track record leading distributed, remote, or hybrid engineering teams to ship production software on time.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills to clearly translate architectural vision into concrete developer tasks and communicate status upward.\n\nSkills\nMobile Development,
