This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys building relationships, navigating complexity and delivering value through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships.\nWorking across a diverse range of business areas, you'll lead end-to-end procurement activities, support contract and supplier management, and provide trusted advice that balances commercial outcomes, risk and organisational priorities.\nWhat you'll do:\nAs a Procurement Specialist, you'll partner with stakeholders across AFCA to deliver procurement initiatives from planning through to contract execution and supplier management:\nLead medium to high-complexity sourcing activities across a range of spend categories.\nDevelop sourcing strategies, manage RFx processes and conduct market engagement activities.\nEvaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial outcomes and support contract execution.\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge demand where appropriate and deliver fit-for-purpose procurement solutions.\nDraft, review and negotiate contracts, statements of work, variations and other procurement documentation.\nManage supplier relationships and support the resolution of commercial and contractual issues.\nMonitor supplier performance, service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.\nIdentify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier consolidation, process improvement and value creation.\nConduct market research and supplier analysis to identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities.\nProvide practical procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation.\nContribute to procurement governance, reporting, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate procurement and contract records in line with governance and compliance requirements.\n You're a collaborative procurement professional who combines strong commercial judgement with excellent stakeholder management skills.\nYou'll bring:\nExperience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management or vendor management.\nDemonstrated success delivering end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities.\nStrong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies and contract management practices.\nExperience negotiating commercial agreements and achieving positive business outcomes.\nThe ability to identify and manage commercial, operational and supplier risks.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.\nExcellent communication skills, including preparing procurement documentation, business cases and executive-level recommendations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high level of attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience supporting procurement governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities.\n Gold AWEI Accreditation 2025 - Recognised for LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion.\nAccredited Family Friendly Workplace - Supporting work-life balance and inclusivity.\nHybrid working - Flexible arrangements with two days a week in our modern offices designed for collaboration and wellbeing.\nAdditional and inclusive leave options - Flexible public holidays, gender affirmation leave, women’s health leave, and bonus paid time off over the end of year holiday period.\nTo apply\nIf you’re passionate about fairness and believe your skills align with this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single criterion.\nWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
