Building on our success in substance use disorder care, we are continuing to grow our clinical leadership team to support high-quality, accessible care across markets.\nOur model combines licensed clinicians, innovative technology, and a deeply human approach to care-supporting individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.\nAs we expand in Oregon, we are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a team of clinicians while helping drive strong clinical outcomes and operational excellence.\nAbout the Role\nThe Counselor Supervisor will oversee a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong clinical performance, and alignment with Affect’s treatment model.\nThis role blends clinical supervision, team leadership, performance management, and program development-ideal for someone who enjoys building, coaching, and improving systems while staying connected to clinical work.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors and therapists\nCoach clinicians on complex cases, clinical skill development, and adherence to treatment standards\nDrive strong clinical outcomes and team performance, including productivity, engagement, and quality metrics\nMonitor and ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance standards\nSupport caseload and utilization management, including scheduling optimization and panel adjustments\nConduct chart reviews, audits, and performance evaluations\nPartner with clinical leadership, operations, and medical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day care delivery\nSupport training, onboarding, and ongoing development of clinicians\nContribute to new program initiatives, protocols, and quality improvement efforts\nMaintain a small clinical caseload as needed to support operations and remain connected to care delivery\nParticipate in hiring and help build a strong, mission-aligned team\nRequirements\nActive and independent Oregon license: LCSW or LPC\nMinimum 2+ years of experience as an independent clinician\nPrior experience supervising clinicians (required)\nAbility to supervise clinicians across substance use and mental health treatment\nWillingness to work in-office in the Portland metro area\nAbility to maintain a Monday-Friday schedule\nStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage across teams\nExperience supporting documentation standards, utilization, and performance management\nComfort working in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment\nPreferred\nExperience leading teams and managing clinical staff performance\nExperience with hiring, onboarding, or training clinicians\nFamiliarity with local Oregon treatment landscape and community resources\nThe Benefits of Joining Affect\nCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience and leadership background)\nFull-time employees may enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage\nEmployer-paid life and disability insurance\n401(k) plan eligibility\nPaid vacation, sick time, company holidays, and parental leave\nOpportunity to lead and shape a growing clinical team\nCollaborative, mission-driven culture focused on impact and innovation\nWhy Join Us\nAt Affect, you’ll do more than supervise-you’ll build, lead, and elevate a team delivering meaningful care every day.
