The primary requirement is to always keep the building and equipment in excellent condition. Some evenings and weekends will be required with this position. Communication skills a must.\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWarehouse duties include but are not limited to: Building maintenance; all areas clean and free of debris; Keeping supplies, product samples. \nOrder samples, manage inventory. Maintain client equipment and supplies.\nOther duties in support of sales would include but are not limited to: Transfer and release of samples and POS, assistance at; Vendor Fairs, Sales Trainings and Food Shows.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nHigh School Degree\nWarehouse/Office inventory levels kept current (product and supplies)\nWarehouse and Forklift experience preferred, but not required\nFloors free of debris and shelves stocked in neat, organized manner.\nAll areas of the office and warehouse are cleaned and maintained including restrooms and kitchen.\nAll property outside of the building, including parking lot, dumpster area, patio, and grass areas clean.\nSupplies for building maintained and replenished.\nDeliveries to be checked in and signed for\nPaperwork to appropriate person\nProduct pick-up and transport to warehouse.\nSamples pulled, tagged, and dated.\nNotify appropriate person of sample arrival.\nAll samples rotated according to freshness codes.\nAssist in all functions of sales support as required (requests to be made through Marketing Director and Market EVP)\nExperience with Microsoft office suite.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nAccountability and Ownership - Takes full responsibility for maintaining warehouse organization, equipment condition, inventory accuracy, and completion of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.\nOrganization and Inventory Management - Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking, rotation, and availability of samples, supplies, and equipment.\nAttention to Detail - Ensures accuracy in receiving deliveries, tagging, dating, and rotating samples, as well as maintaining proper documentation and inventory levels.\nCollaboration and Sales Support - Works closely with sales and marketing teams to support events, sample distribution, and promotional activities, contributing to overall sales effectiveness.\nCommunication Skills - Clearly and effectively communicates with internal teams regarding inventory status, sample arrivals, and operational needs to ensure smooth workflows.\nReliability and Work Ethic - Demonstrates dependability, flexibility, and willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed to support warehouse operations and sales events.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; lift heavy materials; walk; sit; use hands; work long hours\nThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. \nPay range: $28 per hour to $33.\nThe Affinity Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
