Our work spans multiple professional disciplines and provides the foundation for Affirm’s mission to deliver honest financial products.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a business-minded Contract Management Specialist II to help deliver responsive, consistent contract support for the Commercial and Vendor Legal teams.\nYou’ll manage a wide range of agreements, support legal intake and business questions, and partner closely with Legal, Legal Operations, Revenue, Finance, Procurement, and other internal teams. You’ll independently handle routine matters while supporting attorneys on strategic, complex negotiations. This is a hands-on role that rewards resourcefulness, speed, curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset, and good judgment.\nWhat you'll do\nDraft, negotiate, and manage commercial and vendor agreements, amendments, NDAs, and other contracts\n\nTriage incoming legal requests, support the business by answering contract and process questions, and route matters that require specialized knowledge\n\nCoordinate contract approvals and cross-functional reviews and help keep contract matters moving toward execution\n\nMaintain and help improve standard contract templates, playbooks, training materials, and knowledge management resources\n\nCommunicate contract positions, requirements, risks and next steps clearly and concisely to internal business partners\n\nIdentify recurring pain points and opportunities to implement process improvements that optimize for speed, efficiency, and quality\n\nManage and meet aggressive internal SLAs while balancing shifting priorities and escalating urgent or high-risk matters appropriately\n\nPartner with Legal Operations, Financial Systems, and Procurement on solution design and delivery\n\nSupport ad hoc matters and special projects as the contract management function evolves\n\nWhat we look for\n3+ years of relevant experience in contract management, as a paralegal, or in a comparable contracting role, preferably at a fast-paced technology company\n\nBachelor’s degree (no JD required)\n\nExperience using a contract lifecycle management platform; Ironclad experience is preferred\n\nStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to independently manage routine and moderately complex contract matters and recognize when attorney or specialist involvement is appropriate\n\nSharp judgment and critical thinking, with a track record of applying lessons learned across negotiations, template drafting, and internal guidance\n\nComfort operating in a high-volume, fast-moving environment where priorities may shift\n\nDetail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused\n\nTeam-first mindset: no task is too small, no problem is too big\n\nWillingness to contribute to both shared operational work and specialized contracting matters\n\nBase Pay Grade - H\nEquity Grade - 3\nEmployees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
