We partner closely with People Operations, People Tech, Global Mobility, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and external payroll providers to ensure a seamless employee experience while maintaining adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.\nAs a global team, we embrace collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. We value innovation, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, empowering team members to drive process improvements and make a meaningful impact on a worldwide scale.\nWhat you'll do\nIn this role you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll.\n\nCollaborate with the People Platform, Benefits, Legal, and Finance business units on all payroll matters with cross-functional impact such as accurate benefit information, new joiner processes, cash, bonus, process leavers, and other ad hoc projects impacting payroll.\n\nProcess U.K. and Spain payroll. This role will grow with additional EU countries under our high growth model.\n\nAssist with processing RSUs and ESPP earnings and taxation.\n\nProcess garnishments and levies.\n\nAssist with audit and compliance procedures related to payroll. \n\nSupport the month-end closing for all payroll related accounts. \n\nAssist with annual financial statement audit and be the primary contact for all payroll related audit testing for respective countries.\n\nConduct year-end reporting for respective countries.\n\nAnswer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, etc.\n\nWhat we look for\nMinimum 10-15 years of international payroll experience with a focus on EMEA countries.\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent training and education beyond high school.\n\nStrong math, analytical, research, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.\n\nStrong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new process flows and software technologies.\n\nSelf-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.\n\nAbility to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.\n\nExcellent communication skills to include written and verbal communication with employees and across the organization including varying levels of leadership.\n\nExperience with systems migration and integration of different systems is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of NetSuite or Workday is a plus.\n\nBase Pay Grade - K\nEquity Grade - 5\nEmployees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.\nBase pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc.
