We promise to do what’s right, always.\nPosition Summary:\nAffirmedRx is seeking a hands-on, patient-centered leader to join our growing Marketing team as the Member Communications Director. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all member communications, both current and future, with a focus on evolving from single-channel to multi-channel digital strategies. The Director will prioritize and manage messaging related to formulary changes, cost-saving opportunities, and other key health updates. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams-including Operations, Formulary Strategy, Client Management, and Data Analytics-this role ensures communications are accurate, timely, and secure. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.\nWhat you will do:\n Member Communication Strategy and Execution:\nBuild a marketing communications plan to meet key business objectives\nStreamline templates for letters, postcards, and digital formats (email, app notifications)\nEnsure messaging is clear, consistent, and patient-centered across all channels\nManage customization to meet client and regulatory requirements\nPrepare for enhanced digital engagement using QR codes and online tools\nProcess Oversight and Execution Management:\nOversee end-to-end communication workflows with attention to detail and timeliness\nReview incoming requests, assign tasks, and ensure seamless follow-through\nMonitor and manage project timelines and cross-functional deliverables\nMaintain compliance, accuracy, and security throughout the communication lifecycle\nVendor & Channel Execution:\nCoordinate with print and mail vendors to ensure timely, high-quality output\nEstablish and enforce quality control processes for both print and digital delivery\nTrack vendor performance and maintain effective working relationships\nDevelop and implement the transition to multi-channel distribution, including digital-first formats\nCross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration: \nWork closely with internal teams (Clinical, Analytics, Legal, Finance, etc.) to align messaging and timelines\nLead campaign planning with external agencies, vendors, and product partners\nFacilitate meetings, confirm alignment, and resolve roadblocks quickly\nFoster a culture of teamwork, positivity, and solution-oriented thinking\nWhat you need:\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing or Communications, preferably within the healthcare industry\nExceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong problem-solving and facilitation abilities\nDemonstrated ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment\nProven track record of effective collaboration and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization\nEagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and contribute to cross-functional projects with a team-first mindset\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools is required\nWhat you get:\nTo impact industry change in the pharmacy benefits management space, while delivering the highest quality patient outcomes\nTo work in a culture where people thrive because when OUR team thrives, OUR business thrives\nCompetitive compensation, including health, dental, vision and other benefits\n Note: \nAffirmedRx is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
