He/She will analyze the information provided on a prospective employee’s application form and conduct a personal interview to determine the suitability of the applicant for referral to the hiring manager.\nResponsibilities\nSupports AFL Services across the US footprint in recruiting all technical and professional based staffing needs.\nWrite interesting, dynamic job postings that not only clearly communicate job requirements but also highlight the benefits of each position\nPartners with hiring managers and functional managers to source and prescreen candidates\nSource qualified passive candidates through social media, job boards and professional networking platforms.\nReview resumes and determine qualifications of candidates through a screening process.\nTrack each candidate’s progress through our pre-employment process using our Applicant Tracking System (UKG).\nWorks with colleges and universities to build successful pipelines of talent in areas of focus for AFL businesses.\nManages our external supplement staffing and headhunter relationships to ensure full-service support to our hiring managers.\nBuild strong working relationships with hiring managers.\nStay up-to-date and build knowledge of recruiting practices, employment law and industry and share the information with your fellow team members.\nSchedules and conducts interviews, coordinates job offers and ultimately fills open positions\nSupport and conduct job fairs and recruitment/marketing activities\nPartner with the Manager, Talent Development and Training to devise new recruiting strategies and identify new recruiting resources if needed.\nRoutinely evaluate processes to optimize efficiency, transparency, consistency\nSeek ways to enhance and consistently deliver excellent customer service to hiring managers and candidates\nInterfaces with other HR departments (i.e. benefits, compensation, employee relations, payroll, etc.) to ensure compliance and process efficiency.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or some other filed preferred; Associate’s degree and commensurate experience required.\n7+ years of experience in Recruiting preferred\n5+ years of Telecommunications Services or Information and Communication Technology, organization experience in Operations, Engineering, or Technical related field preferred\nDemonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving ability\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nStrong interviewing, evaluation and assessment skills\nExperience with ATS and HRIS systems (UKG/UltiPro preferred)\nPersonal Qualities\nSuperb attention to detail and good record keeping skills\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines\nTeam player; high level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy\nTake initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed\nWorking Conditions\nNormal office and manufacturing facility environment.
