This position supports technical activities for the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of wireless systems. This is accomplished by notify carriers and venue owners of system health and providing technical services and support to resolve customer network malfunctions. The Performance Engineer will use RF test equipment to evaluate system performance, evaluate compliance compatibility and troubleshoot operational issues. Carry out RF test execution and generate status and test reports.\nAttends training classes for OEM products to learn RF principles to become very knowledgeable in all current DAS/Small Cell technologies\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify system performance problems and possible solutions\nResolve customer service issues and assist in implementing solutions\nCollect data in support of performance evaluations and program optimization\nResponsible for “Pager Duty” alarm clearing\nRepair and install equipment as needed\nWork with internal department managers as needed to meet company objectives\nWork with Deployment and Construction counterparts to hit project timelines and goals\nEvaluate coverage problems and new service area requirements for coverage cells\nAt times, identify causes of RF interference and troubleshooting interference problems with various customers\nOrganize and conduct meetings as necessary to meet departmental objectives\nWork closely with Construction team to oversee infrastructure modifications\nAttend weekly meeting with customer\nPersonal Qualities\nAnalytical Thinking - Exceptional ability to analyze data and utilize it to make sound decision\nConflict Management and Resolution Skills - Build consensus, anticipate and solve problems\nResults focused - Ability to organize and manage multiple, and at time competing priorities\nCommunication Skills - Demonstrate communication skills necessary to interpret policies in situations requiring persuasion and prepare and present presentations.
