You will help ensure that solutions are robust, secure, maintainable,and deliver a seamless experience for our policyholders.\nThe applications and services we build leverage modern engineering practices, cloud technologies and AI-assisted development approaches to accelerate delivery while maintaining a strong focus on quality, reliability and customer outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nBeing right at the heart of the testing lifecycle: developing test plans and test cases, ensuring effective test coverage, executing tests, identifying and logging defects, working with engineers to resolve defects,and supporting regression testing.\nFunctional, workflow, and end-to-end testing of n-tier web applications, including the creation and maintenance of automated tests where it makes sense.\nParticipating in system integration testing with colleagues from multiple global teams\nContinually improving engineering and testing processes.\nProvide best practice, shift-left coaching to developers to promote defensive coding habits.\nFacilitateexample mapping sessionsto help build complete picture of user story requirements.\nContribute tothemaintenance of CI/CD pipelines.\nContribute to creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.\nUse GenAIin the form of GitHub Copilot or AWS Kiroto embed quality early in the AI-DLC to reduce risk and accelerate defect-free product development.\nSkills and experience\nBelow is an overview of the skills and experience we are looking for, but remember, don’t rule yourself out if you don’t have everything on the list - it’s your intellect and your attitude we are really after.\nEssential\n7+ years of IT experience in anyclient-server design/development\nExperience with targetedtest automationstrategies\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work well within a team environment, maximising the different strengths across the team.\nKey technologyexperienceofany test automation tools, but preferably Robot Framework and Playwright\n\nCommercial experienceof agile testingprocesses and the DevOps lifecycle\nExperience of implementing security standards that meetprivacy requirements for web applications.\nExperience using GenAI tools to reduce risk and increase quality.\nExperience participating in integration testing across multiple applications and teams. \nDesirable\nExperience testing cloud-native applications and services hosted on AWS. \nExperience testing REST-based APIs and service integrations. \nExperience testing distributed systems and microservice-based architectures. \nExperience using observability and monitoring tooling to support test investigations and quality analysis. \nExperience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment quality practices. \nOther valuable technologies: Robot Framework, Playwright, object-oriented concepts, GIT.\nSupport integration and end-to-end testing of APIs, cloud-native services, and interconnected systems across the enterprise\nWe are committed to attracting diverse talent and supporting flexible working.
