An ability to\nexcel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is crucial.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n Lead and manage the investment team through all phases of the investment process and\nthe funds’ life cycle, including deal origination, evaluation of investment opportunities,\nparticipation in investment committees and board meetings, portfolio company\nmanagement, exit strategies, and fundraising activities.\n Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify opportunities, and evaluate the potential\nmerits of investments or innovative greenfield projects.\n Lead comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, and valuation to evaluate potential\ninvestment opportunities and perform portfolio monitoring.\n Oversee the deal structuring process including analyzing investment terms, preparing\nterm sheets and investment memos, leading negotiations and coordinating deal execution\nmeetings.\n Conduct in depth due diligence on target companies, including interactions with executive\nmanagement and research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and financial\nperformance.\n Coordinate with due diligence advisors, review their deliverables and present findings to\nFEDA’s management and investment and strategy committee.\n Evaluate and report on the performance of portfolio companies, identifying key\nperformance indicators and suggesting improvements. Monitor value-creation plan\nincluding ESG action plan for portfolio companies.\n Prepare monthly and quarterly investment reports to FEDA’s governance (Executive\nManagement, Board, Investors etc.)\n Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact FEDA’s investments.\n Assist in fundraising efforts, including creating marketing materials and participating in\ninvestor meetings for portfolio companies or FEDA’s funds.\n Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.\nRequirements\nAnalytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex financial information, identify key trends and\ninsights, and draw logical conclusions.\n Financial Modeling: Proficient in building and utilizing financial models to assess\ninvestment opportunities, forecast financial performance, value an investment, and\nevaluate risk.\n Research and Due Diligence: Skilled in conducting comprehensive research, analyzing\nmarket trends, and performing due diligence on potential investments.\n Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis, data\ninterpretation, and report preparation.\n Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the\nability to effectively articulate investment recommendations and complex financial\nconcepts.\n Adaptability: Ability to thrive ability to work\neffectively within a team and across departments.\nQualifications:\n Master’s degree in finance, economics, banking, engineering, sciences, or a related field\nwith a strong academic performance.\n Minimum 7 years of work experience, 5 of which in investment banking, private equity, or\na similar financial role is highly desirable.\n Strong understanding of financial analysis techniques, valuation methodologies, and\ninvestment principles.\n Proficient in financial modeling, Excel, and other relevant analytical tools.\n Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret\ncomplex financial data.\n Proficiency in and extensive experience with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing private equity investments.\n Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial analysis and\nreporting.\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present
