As a layout engineer, you will collaborate with both whole vehicle layout team and different engineering teams to support the product development.\nOrganize cross-functional meetings and task forces to ensure mechanical interfaces within Cab development, both exterior and interior\n Create and manage the development of 2D and 3D CAD models and oversee the implementation of design validation and testing plans to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.\n Act as an interface between cab development and other workstreams, make sure critical interfaces are secured • Lead concept development activities for cross-functional investigations, balancing between cost, quality and requirements\nSupport in visualization and presentation of the product in 2D and 3D format\nBS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, or a related field.\nAt least 3+ years of experience in design quality assurance\nStrong proficiency in engineering design, including software like Catia V5, KDP and Microsoft office.\nExperience in product development, familiar with development process in automotive industry\nExcellent English communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.\nFluent in English • Experience in BEV commercial vehicle development is a plus.\nAt AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
