Join us in accelerating the transition towards a sustainable society.\n Do you want to help shape how AFRY works with sourcing, vendor management and strategic technology partnerships in an increasingly digital world?\nAFRY is looking for an experienced and driven IT Sourcing Lead to help evolve our sourcing and vendor management capabilities across a global organization.\nIn this role, you will work at the intersection of business, technology and commercial management, ensuring that sourcing decisions, supplier relationships and partner ecosystems support AFRY's strategic priorities, digital ambitions and long-term business goals.\nYou will collaborate closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders and key suppliers, driving initiatives that strengthen performance, improve cost efficiency and maximize value from our technology investments.\nThe position is located at our Solna office, with the possibility to combine office and remote work.\nWhat you will do\nAs IT Sourcing Lead, you will play a key role in developing and continuously improving how AFRY works with sourcing, commercial management and strategic technology partners.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nEvolve AFRY's sourcing and vendor management practices, governance and operating model.\nLead sourcing initiatives and supplier selection processes.\nDrive commercial negotiations, contract renewals and supplier discussions.\nManage relationships with key technology and service providers.\nEstablish performance management and follow-up models for strategic suppliers.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service quality and business value.\nCreate transparency around supplier performance, commercial outcomes and spend.\nSupport digital and transformation initiatives through effective sourcing and partner management.\nEnsure sourcing decisions and supplier agreements appropriately address information security, data privacy, intellectual property rights and responsible use of data and AI-enabled technologies.\nEvaluate commercial, pricing and contractual models to balance business value, cost efficiency and risk.\nAdvise stakeholders on sourcing-related opportunities, risks and decisions.\n Who you are:\nYou are a commercially minded and analytical professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and driving tangible business outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are comfortable working across organizational boundaries, influencing stakeholders and leading initiatives from idea to execution.\nYou likely have experience within one or more of the following areas:\nIT sourcing\nVendor management\nTechnology strategy\nManagement consulting\nProcurement or commercial management\nDigital transformation\nWhat you bring:\nExperience in sourcing, vendor management or commercial management within a complex organization.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience leading commercial discussions and supplier negotiations.\nAbility to translate complex insights into clear recommendations and actions.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nFluency in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.\nThe ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.\n This is an opportunity to play a central role in the continued development of AFRY's sourcing and vendor management capabilities.\nYou will work across a global organization, engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to how AFRY leverages technology partners and external expertise to support growth, innovation and business performance.\nThis is a permanent position.
