In total, we have multinational staff of more than 500 working in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) field around the world.\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transmission Line Design Engineer with experience in PLS-CADD to join our growing power transmission engineering team. The successful candidate will support the design and engineering of overhead transmission lines for utility and renewable energy projects across domestic and international markets.\nThis role offers opportunities to work on projects from concept through detailed engineering while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic engineering environment.\n Develop overhead transmission line designs using PLS-CADD.\nPerform line routing, profile development, and plan & profile drawing preparation.\nConduct sag-tension calculations and optimize conductor clearances.\nAnalyze line geometry considering terrain, environmental constraints, and regulatory requirements.\nGenerate construction staking reports, material quantities, and design documentation.\nCoordinate with tower, foundation, survey, and geotechnical engineering teams.\nReview transmission line layouts for constructability and compliance with applicable standards.\nSupport design reviews, quality assurance, and engineering documentation.\nAssist in resolving technical issues during detailed engineering and construction.\nParticipate in client meetings and interdisciplinary project coordination.\n Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n5-15 years of experience in overhead transmission line engineering.\nHands-on experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.\nExperience with projects ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV (or applicable voltage levels).\nStrong understanding of transmission line engineering principles.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in international project teams.\n We offer the following to qualified candidates:\nContract type : permanent\nFriendly international working environment with a wide variety of interesting and challenging tasks\nCompetitive salary package\nWell-balanced working hour\nCareer opportunity in one of the largest international consulting and engineering companies\nPossibility to grow professionally and advance in career\nAt AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
