No recruiters please.\nAfton Scientific is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Engineering team. This position supports engineering, validation, and manufacturing activities through the execution of engineering studies, equipment implementation, process improvement, and hands-on support of sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys combining technical expertise with hands-on problem solving in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.\nCompensation\n$31.35 to $38.46 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications\nPlacement within the range will be based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and demonstrated competencies.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAssist in the execution and reporting of engineering protocols and formal studies.\nSupport the evaluation, installation, and qualification of new instrumentation and equipment.\nEvaluate, select, and order parts and components for engineering batches.\nPerform hands-on setup and preparation of sterile pharmaceutical products and components.\nSupport validation activities, including equipment setup and execution of validation studies.\nPerform Pharmaceutical Operator II duties as needed to support operations.\nParticipate in product and process development initiatives.\nMaintain validation activities in compliance with cGMP requirements.\nReview operational deviations, change controls, validation protocols, and formal studies, as applicable.\nCollaborate effectively with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other departments to support manufacturing objectives.\nMinimum Qualifications\nTechnical degree, two-year associate degree, or equivalent industry-related experience.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn additional software applications.\nProfessional communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.\nAbility to work on-site on a regular basis.\nPreferred Knowledge and Experience\nExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.\nWorking knowledge of cGMP requirements and validation principles.\nExperience supporting manufacturing equipment, engineering projects, or validation activities.\nFamiliarity with aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing operations.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a cross-functional
